Pastor

Dr. Casey Hughes became the Lead Pastor of Meadowview Baptist Church in December of 2023. He was born and raised in Tupelo, MS. His father was a Mississippi Highway Patrolman and his mother was an office manager at various local businesses. He graduated Tupelo High School and 

-  born in Tupelo, MS

-  married to Tina (born in Selmer, TN)

-  one daughter

-  surrendered to full-time Christian ministry, 1995

-  graduated Blue Mountain College, 1999 
(major in Biblical Studies; double minor in Recreation and Theater)

-  graduated New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, 2009 (Master of Arts in Christian Education)

-  graduated New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, 2019 (Doctorate of Educational Ministry)

-  ministry goal: to lead the local church to make disciples 
of the nations

-  hobbies & interests: reading, College football, disc golf, 
grilling, basketball, movies
