Worship

Who? Our focus in worship is to express our love for the one true God through Jesus by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

When? Our primary, weekly, worship service takes place on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m.

What to Expect? In our worship celebrations, we are led by our Pastor (Casey Hughes), along with the help of our Worship Leader (Jon Ginn), various vocalists, and our Praise Band (including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, and keyboard). 

     * We sing both traditional and modern worship songs/hymns.

     * We encourage audience participation! We invite you to stand, sing, raise your hands...offer praise to God that brings Him glory.

     * We usually sing 4 - 5 songs in a typical worship set.

     * Our Pastor preaches from the English Standard Version of the Bible, but we strive to make the Gospel clear to everyone,,.no matter the translation they choose.

     * Our Pastor typically preaches directly through books of the Bible.

     * The sermons typically last anywhere from 30 - 45 minutes.

What should I wear? You are welcome to dress formally or casually. On most Sundays, our Pastor wears a tie (and he is usually the only one wearing a tie!). Our worship friends wear jeans, boots, dresses, tennis shoes, t-shirts, dress shirts, etc. The ONLY request we have is that no one dress in such a way that distracts others from focusing on Jesus!

How can I check it out? We LiveStream (Facebook and YouTube) all of our Worship Celebrations, and they are all replayed the following Sunday on television. If you are concerned about how we worship, watch one of our services before you visit!
